Where two or three are gathered...
How to be a support in the best times and seek it in the low times

When your heart is heavy, when you are wrestling with anxiety, or when you are living your best life…you will always need love and support.
As we all have, I have suffered and I have experienced pure joy.
I have lived through tragedy and danced through the happiest moments of my life.
And something that I have learned through my three decades…
…we all need loved and support, in the good times and the bad.
But, if you’ve been following along lately feeling that you are in the joyous phase of your life, then you might be feeling guilty.
I’d encourage you not to.
Instead, I encourage you to start thinking through how you can carry the burdens of those who might not be able to carry it themselves for now.
Be the support for someone during your best times.
Go out of your way to shower them with love and kindness.
Pray for them.
Pray over them.
Pray with them.
Because they probably need it.
And, when you need it (because you will someday), those whom you helped will be there to love and support you right back.
We all need one another. WE are all one family with “Our Father” staring lovingly at us.
Never hesitate to take advantage of your blessings and start blessing others!
My prayer for today
Our Father, thank you, thank you, thank you. Whether we are feeling apathetic, anxious, or exuberant joy…we know we can count on you to be there with us, Spirit. Help us be the hands and feet of Jesus when we are blessed and can support others. Reveal those in need to us. Amen.
Remember
Reach out to someone you know is struggling. Offer up a prayer, give them some encouragement, and ask if you can pray for them. And, if you aren’t in a place to do so, make sure to reach out to someone who can pray with and for you.
