Take a moment to wonder
And offer thanks for the amazing world we live in
I’m always fascinated by the ocean.
Not because of the deep sea creatures that live there.
Not because I love the beach (I actually don’t like the beach).
…but because I the waves change the face of the beach with every single wave.
People are all over the beach all day long, every day, but you wouldn’t know it within the area where the tides come in.
I would put my foot in the sand and within two minutes it was like I was never there.
The ocean is change. Water is change. And God is described as giving the oceans their borders, God calls oceans and waters into order.
God brings order and rhythms to chaos.
And I always wonder at how truly awesome, deserving of awe, God is.
And I just have to thank God for the creation God has made for us to interact with.
My prayer for today
Our Father, thank you for your incredible creation. Jesus, help me to realize my place in it. Spirit, push me to worship more often and more genuinely. Amen.

There is beauty in everything around you. Pay attention to it and thank God for creating it.
